Muku

Muku is Japanese for Innocence, which of course he is not! We named him after a beautiful dog that lived at the pension where we stayed a number of times when we skied at Niseko on Hokkaiddo.

3-Sep-2020 Photos from when we first got him. Weight 4.7kg

15-Sep-2020 He is growing fast! And now biting most things. Pauline is managing the training. He will now sit, drop and is mostly toilet trained 🙂

A day in the life of Muku:

  • Wake up the humans early (5am) and go for a pee.
  • Go for a walk with Colin. I’m not tired after this, I can still jump around and get into everything.
  • Eat breakfast.
  • Poo a lot.
  • Sleep at the back door
  • Training with Pauline. I do some of this till I get bored. Have to humor the humans.
  • Sleep till lunch time.
  • Harass the Humans while they eat lunch.
  • Pig out on lunch.
  • Poo a lot.
  • Harass the humans till they throw me out the back again.
  • Sleep till dinner time.
  • If the humans leave me inside I’ll harass them while they have dinner. I’m getting better at waiting for food.
  • Eat dinner.
  • Bounce around inside while the humans try to watch the news. They get sick of me after a while and throw me out (again).
  • Poo again
  • Off to bed
  • repeat!

I’m still growing fast! So much to do and investigate. I have discovered sheep bones, YUMMMMM! I can spend hours just gnawing away at the same bone, heaven. I have also discovered a new friend to play with. Teddy from across the road. I’m not sure what breed he is but lots of fun. We spend an hour or so each day just mess’n around. Yesterday we messed around in a pile of mud in the rain. So much fun. The humans had to wash me in a tub. I’m all fluffy now!
